Cecelia Sciarrotta passed on April 6,, 2010, in Palo Alto, Calif. Born on September 10, 1952, Cecelia was the loving wife of Chris Sciarrotta of Carson City and loving mother of Alex Sciarrotta of Minden, Vincent Sciarrotta of Reno, and Marcella Gonsalves of Sacramento, Calif.; loving grandmother of Alexis, Giovanni, Guilliano, Vinson, Frankie and Tony Sciarrotta of Minden; and son-in-law Dale Gonsalves of Sacramento.
Cecelia is also survived by her mother, Louise Rose, of Carson City; sisters Maureen Mortimer of Gardnerville, Helen Nelson of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother Robert Rose of Dayton; and many additional relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. May 1, 2010, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church on Lompa Lane in Carson City. Following the service, the family will host a reception for family and friends at Glen Eagles Restaurant on No. Carson St. in Carson City.
