Marvin Iver Haugen, 89, a Carson City resident, passed away April 15, 2010. He was born in Safford Township, N.D., July 15, 1920. He retired from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power after 30 years and moved to Carson City in 1978.
Burial services will be in Sherwood, N.D., at a later date. Marvin is preceded in death by wives Dorothy and Marion, brother Carol and son Steven. He is survived by daughter Tessa Haugen Chalberg, grandson Eric and his four children, and granddaughter Tammy. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for arrangements.
