Members of the Carson City Sheriff's Mounted Posse will be training at Silver Saddle Ranch off Carson River Road beginning today through Sunday using fireworks and gunshot.
The training, which is to help the horses become accustomed to such noise, will go from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Thursday and 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday.
