Health inspections for Aug. 4

The following health inspections are for the period before July 23:

• Rand Avenue Convenience Store, 1800 Highway 50 East #14, scored 100 points.

• Club Envy Bar/Lounge, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, scored 88 points. Food contact surfaces of equipment were not clean. Inside the ice machine there was a buildup of slime on the edge of the drop shield. Food contact surfaces of the speed gun and speed gun holster contained debris and are not clean. There was no soap in either restroom. Garbage/refuse containers are not kept covered. The 6-yard Dumpster was found over-filled with the lid up and a rotten odor. Outside areas were not clean. Broken bottles and litter were found all around the building. Floors were not clean. The inside establishment and outside property is littered. Broken glass, bottle caps, paper and other debris littered the inside and outside of the establishment.

• Club Envy Restaurant, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, scored 95 points. Food was found in the chest freezer in a disorganized and unprotected manner. Various items were found without good covers and labels. Some spillage of food was observed in the freezer. Outside garbage/refuse storage area is not clean. The 6-yard dumpster was found with the lid up and it was over-filled. A rotten odor was evident. The kitchen floors were not clean. Cleaning and maintenance tools are not properly stored. The mop bucket was found with dirty water in it.

• Tacos El Tio Mobile Food Vehicle, 4637 Carter Ave., scored 99 points. This unit is only used on weekends for about four hours at a time. The windows were found not maintained in good repair. Two were missing screens. Replace screens as soon as possible to prevent insects from entering.

• Kids Ice Cream Mobile Cone Vehicle, 4999 Highway 50 East #18, scored 100 points.
