Obituary: Mary T. Hess

Mary T. Hess, 83, of Mound House died Aug. 16, 2010, in Carson City. She was born Oct. 10, 1926, in Hardinsburg, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Hess; son John Hess; and brother Bud Bishop. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Matheny of Mound House; stepson Karl Hess of Escanaba, Mich.; brother Ted Burch of Louisville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
