Obituary: Richard Lee Hammel

Richard Lee Hammel, 60, of Silver City, died Dec. 14, 2010, at Renown Hospital in Reno. He was born Feb. 23, 1950, in Long Beach, Calif., to Richard and Reda Hammel. He is survived by his mother Reda Maguire of Carson City; sons Daniel of Silver City and Michael of Virginia City; daughter Kimberly Staugaard of Dayton; and five grandchildren.
