There's a potential for some urban and small stream flooding in the Carson City area today with nearly another inch of rain expected to fall, according to the National Weather Service.

By late afternoon, a cold front is expected to move into the area, which could bring an inch or two of snow by early evening.

Highs today will be in the mid 40s. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s tonight with wind gusts of up to 35 mph.

Meteorologist Mark Faucette said Carson City picked up about 10 inches of snow on Friday and about a foot in the foothills.

"We're looking at another storm Tuesday, Wednesday," Faucette said. "The details are a little foggy on it right now."

More snow is expected to fall over Christmas weekend, too.
