The Reno Navy League donated to the Nevada State Museum a framed print by Lt. Col. R. Cody, depicting a U.S. Marine detachment on board the USS Nevada in 1916. The painting is titled, "Dreadnought Leathernecks." Behind the photo is the exhibit of silver from the USS Nevada on display at the Nevada State Museum. Pictured from left: Peter Barton, administrator of the NV Division of Museums and History; Kai Wallis, president of Reno Navy League; Dr. Michael Fischer, director of NV Department of Cultural Affairs; and Chuck Harton, national director emeritus of the Navy League.
