Beatrice I. Jones, 100, died Jan. 29, 2010, in Gardnerville. Beatrice was born July 21, 1909, in Minden to Eugene and Alma Fettic. She is survived by a brother, Neale Fettic of Winnemucca; nieces Bonnie Fettic of Minden, Starla Smith (Jerry) of Gardnerville, Jeanne Fettic of Winnemucca, Jody Copenhaver (Jim) of Elko; nephew Robert Fettic (Marlene) of Orvada, Nev.; nine great nieces and nephews; 15 great-great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-great nephews. There will be a visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Funerals and Cremations, 1521 Church St. Gardnerville. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville. Burial will follow at Mottsville Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
