Members of Coldwell Banker Best Sellers realty group gathered Tuesday at the Brewery Arts Center for Gifts From the Heart, a distribution of funds to local nonprofit organizations.
Broker owner Jenny Lopiccolo distributed checks totaling about $20,000 that was raised by member donations and at the Boot Scootin BBQ fundraiser.
The recipients were:
Advocates To End Domestic Violence, Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, PTSA Carson Safe Grad Committee, Carson City Animal Services, Capitol City Arts Initiative, Carson City Community Counseling,
CASA of Carson City, CTH Cancer Center, Food For Thought, GROW, Carson Senior Center Meals on Wheels, Wildlife Animal Infirmary of Nevada.
Dayton Safe Grad Program, Dayton Food Bank, Dayton Valley Lions Club, Meals on Wheels, Dayton Senior Center, Central Lyon County Youth Coalition.
The Brewery Arts Center donated use of the ballroom. Grandma Hattie's and the Artisan Cafe donated the catered breakfast.
