Obituary: John Stevenson

John Stevenson, 86, died Feb. 23, 2010, at his home in Minden. He served in World War II in the Pacific. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Bill Stevenson and sister Yvonne Stevenson. He is survived by his wife Lee; daughters Sharon Beaver, Sandra Stevenson and Yvonne Parker; son Robert Stevenson; stepchildren Valerie Hill, Roma Holt, Alfred DelVecchio, Paul DelVecchio and Richard DelVecchio; brother Fred; sisters-in-law Bette and Ella Stevenson; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at Calvary Chapel Carson Valley, 1004 Dresslerville Rd., Gardnerville. A reception will follow.
