Nevada Supreme Court Chief Justice Ron Parraguirre (pair-uh-GARY') and Justice James Hardesty will get second terms on the state's highest court.
Neither the 50-year-old Parraguirre nor the 61-year-old Hardesty drew challengers by Friday's close of filing for Supreme Court elections.
That means they'll automatically win re-election in November to six-year terms to the state's only appellate court.
Parraguirre says it also means he and Hardesty will be able to concentrate on court issues instead of campaigning for office.
Both men were state court judges before being elected in 2004.
Parraguirre was a Las Vegas municipal and Clark County District Court judge.
Hardesty was a Washoe County District Court judge in Reno. He served last year as chief justice of the seven-member court.
