Wedding Announcement: Taylor, Roberts celebrate May wedding in Reno

Sally Lawson Taylor and Nathan Roberts exchanged wedding vows May 1, 2010, at the Reno Vineyard, with Pastor Tom Chism officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Juanita Lawson of Yuba City, Calif., and the late Jack Lawson.

The groom is the son of Osborne Roberts of Poway, Calif., and the late Dolores Roberts.

Attendants in the ceremony were Rianna Bensing of Concord, Calif., matron of honor and the daughter of the groom, and Joe Taylor of Reno, best man and son of the bride.

During the exchange of wedding rings, the bride also gave the groom a ring in memory of her youngest son, the late Philip Michael Taylor.

Sally Roberts, a former Gardnerville resident, is employed as features editor at the Nevada Appeal and formerly worked at The Record-Courier and Tahoe Daily Tribune.

Nathan Roberts works as a territorial manager for Premier Concepts, LLC. A former resident of Carson City, he previously worked for Sierra Nevada Media Group as an account executive.

The couple, who reside in Reno, honeymooned at Lake Tahoe.
