Mike Breed has joined the Nevada Appeal and The Record-Courier as circulation director.

Breed has more than 20 years experience in circulation sales and marketing for The Oregonian newspaper in Portland, Ore. Along with newspaper experience he served as an on-air personality at KTIL FM 104.1 in Tillamook, Ore., as well as the master of ceremonies for the Tillamook County Fair.

He was active in his community, participating in city council and planning commission, and is looking forward to being an involved member of the Carson City and Douglas County communities.

Breed enjoys playing golf, hunting and other outdoor activities. A member of a Miata club in Oregon, Mike is eager to become involved in a local car club, and take advantage of the sunny skies as he explores Northern Nevada in his Miata.

Breed and his wife Cheryl have two daughters, Morgan, 22, a pharmacy tech, and Kaitlin, 20, a student at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany.
