LAS VEGAS (AP) - The busiest airline serving Las Vegas will cut 12 daily flights to the desert playground come November.
Southwest Airlines said Wednesday the cuts will mean 1,600 fewer seats per day to and from McCarran International Airport in
Las Vegas.
Southwest currently carries more passengers through McCarran than any other airline with 217 daily flights.
The Dallas-based airline says the Sin City cuts are among 106 daily flights cut nationwide. Las Vegas was cut from Southwest's schedule more than any other city.
Officials say the cuts include two daily flights to Las Vegas from Salt Lake City and three flights from Southern California.
The airline also scaled back service in Idaho, Oregon, Nebraska and most southwestern states.
