Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Adrian Garcia, 16, of Reno, was arrested at 5:51 p.m. Saturday at State and Long streets on suspicion of felony probation violation. Garcia was adjudicated as an adult in 2007 and sentenced to probation for the stabbing of a sleeping gang rival. He was arrested for allegedly associating with other gang members in violation of his probation. No bail was set.

• Edward Moriarity, 44, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment. He allegedly became grossly intoxicated and frightened his three visiting children, who ran barefoot from the apartment and sought help from a clerk at a nearby pharmacy, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $2,632.

• Timothy John Kinsey, 43, a plumber from Carson City, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was Zachary Gonzales, 19, a transient, on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to casino security, Gonzales was seen standing on the street with a sign reading, "In need of weed." He then allegedly walked over to a vehicle and took something from Kinsey. When police arrived, Kinsey allegedly admitted giving a "small amount of marijuana" to Gonzales because he saw his sign. The report states Kinsey said "he was just trying to help out."

• Dave Ernest Herrick, 46, a cook from Carson City, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. Saturday outside a concert in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. Bail was set at $5,000.
