It will be the Orioles and Mariners meeting for the Carson City Major Division city championship tonight at Governors Field.

The Orioles reached the title game with a 12-1 win over the Rockies in a game stopped in the bottom of the fifth because of the 10-run rule. The Mariners, the regular-season champions, edged the Cubs 6-5 in eight innings.

The Mariners and Orioles played twice during the regular season with the teams tying once and the Mariners winning the other game.

P.J. White hurled 4.2 innings in the Orioles' win over the Rockies. John Holton carried the load offensively for the Orioles, hitting two homers, including a walk-off three-run shot that ended the game.

For the second straight game, the Cubs went down to the wire. This time they came up empty, as Jaden DeJoseph drove in the winning run for the Mariners.

Shane Clark hit his first homer of the season, a three-run shot, for the Mariners.

Connor Leahy, Ryan Pope and Geo Ramirez pitched for the Cubs. Ramirez worked the final two innings and took the loss.

Jace Keema went 4-for-5 to lead the Cubs, while Leahy went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs. Ramirez, Ryan Foster and Abel Carter all had two hits with Ramirez also having an RBI. Pope had an RBI triple, while Troy Warren and Wesley Redmond each had a double
