Keith Benson of Carson City graduated May 7, Magna Cum Laude, from UNLV School of Dental Medicine. He graduated from Carson High School in 1998 and UNR in 2003 with a degree in health education.

Keith plans to attend a year-long advanced practice residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Jonathon Josten from Carson City received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and theater from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. on May 22.

Woodie Ross of Minden received a bachelor of science degree in Professional Arts through the Graduate & Professional Studies division at Saint Joseph's College of Maine, which offers online education for working adults.

Saint Joseph's College of Maine offers traditional, four-year bachelor's degrees to students at its southern Maine campus on Sebago Lake and online undergraduate and graduate programs to working adults throughout the country.

Megan Mitchell of Minden named to the Dean's List for the spring 2010 semester at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina.

To qualify for the Dean's List, the student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above.
