Sperry Van Ness, one of the nation's largest commercial real estate brokerage firms, has completed the sale of 18 acres of retail-zoned land to Walmart from Bentonville, Ark.
The land is located at U.S. Highway 395 and the unfinished portion of Muller Lane in Gardnerville. The buyer plans to build a 152,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter at the site. The store is scheduled to open the first quarter of 2012.
