Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Mark Norman Shaver, 45, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 10:42 p.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony preventing/dissuading a witness from reporting a crime, gross misdemeanor malicious destruction of property and misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving. Bail was set at $7,632.

• A 51-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Wednesday at Highway 50 East and Lompa Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to maintain a single lane, failure to use a turn signal and impeding traffic. Bail was set at $1,373.

• Benjamin Vigil, 24, a laborer/caregiver from Carson City, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at William and Fall streets on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $407.

• A 34-year-old delivery service worker who lives in Carson City was arrested at 4:52 a.m. Wednesday at Carson and Adaline streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, possession of firearm when under influence of alcohol, controlled substance or other intoxicating substance, failure to maintain a single lane and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Bail was set at $1,568.

• A 34-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 2:46 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, trespassing and injury to motor vehicle. Bail was set at $731.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A father reported his son was slapped and threatened with a knife by another middle school student at his bus stop at 7:09 a.m.

• Vehicle burglary report in the 2900 block of Mayflower Way at 10:08 a.m.

• Accident at North Stewart and East Long streets at 12:03 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 800 block of Round House Lane at 2:12 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of a bike left outside Smith's in Dayton for three days. A deputy took it into evidence.

• Residential burglary report on Farm Lane in Fernley at 6:18 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Caroline Way in Stagecoach at 10:38 p.m.

• Arrest on Seventh Street in Fernley at 10:26 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of a small scruffy brown dog running loose on D Street at 8:44 a.m.

• Report of a herd of horses on South C Street at 11:37 a.m.
