Raphael, Cardinal plan June wedding

Sophia Raphael and Andrew Cardinal recently announced their engagement.

The couple is planning a June 18 wedding at Tannenbaum Alpine Events Center on Mt. Rose with Pastor J.J. Tuttle officiating.

The bride-to-be is the Joe Raphael of Carson City and Patty Shinault of Carson City. She is a 2006 graduate of Carson High School and expects to graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno in December with a degree in accounting.

The groom-to-be is the son of Paul and Cindy Cardinal. He is a 2005 graduate of Carson High school. He graduated from the UNR in 2009 with a degree in criminal justice and currently works in Reno.
