Applicants sought for historic commission

The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Historic Resources Commission, specifically filling the position of architect, residential designer or design professional.

The Historic Resources Commission reviews and makes decisions regarding projects in the Carson City Historic District to the planning commission and/or board of supervisors.

This term is to fill a position that will expire July 30. Applicants should be aware that a minimum commitment of up to 10 hours a month is expected. The qualified person must be a resident of Carson City and a registered voter.
