The Dayton Valley Golf Club is under new ownership.

T.J. Duncan and his father Tom Duncan purchased the golf course for about $1 million. The deal closed Wednesday morning, T.J. Duncan said.

The Duncans own the Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno and the Links at Kiley Ranch golf course in Sparks.

T.J. Duncan, the vice president and director of operations at the golf course, said the facility's restaurant should reopen soon. The bar will be open by the weekend.

Duncan said membership for unlimited golf will cost $242 a month. For another $25, golfers also can access the Duncans' Reno and Sparks courses.

Duncan said negotiations to purchase the Dayton Valley Golf Country Club started about five months ago. The former owners included a partnership among local investors and developers in Reno and Sacramento.

The family purchased Wolf Run seven years ago and Kiley Ranch three years ago.

Duncan said the golf course now will be called the Dayton Valley Golf Club.
