The Historic St. Peter's Episcopal Church presents "A Garden Faire" from 11 a.m.- 4p.m. Sunday, June 6 at the corner of Division and Telegraph streets.
The fair will feature master gardeners from the extension office, lectures, workshops, seedlings, plants, greeting cards, crafts, cookbooks, apparel, ceramic yard art, jewelry, bird houses, gardening books, plants and flowers.
Bob Reid, author, will lecture on: "Arctic Gardens: Flowers, Birds, and Animals of the North" in the Church Sanctuary at noon and 2 p.m.
Three "Garden Faire" Baskets are being raffled. Raffle tickets are available the day of the "Garden Faire." The raffle will be held at 4 p.m. June 6. You need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10.

Today at the 395 & 8th Street Early Spring Farmer's Market in the Carson Station parking lot, look for ruby red strawberries, cherries, fresh eggs, lettuce, spinach, green beans,carrots, spring garlic, onions, oyster mushrooms, fresh herbs, walnuts and pre-planted lettuce bowls.
Tomato plants and various vegetable starts also are available.
The Early Spring Farmer Market continues each Saturday until June 12 when the regular downtown Saturday Morning Farmer's Market at 3rd and Curry streets gets started.
