Religious panel to discuss LGTB issues Tuesday

PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) Carson Region is hosting a religious panel discussion at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Family Friendship Hall, 1201 N. Saliman Road, Carson City.  The public is invited to attend.  

 

Representing local faith communities will be Fr. Stan Pesis, St. Paul's Lutheran; Fr. Jeff Paul, St. Peter's Episcopal; Reverend Gail Linsley, Center for Spiritual Living; Rev. Larry Schneider, Unity Church of Today;  Rabbi Jonathan Freirich, Temple Bat Yam; and Father Chuck Durante, St. Teresa of Avila.

Each leader will discuss how their faith community interacts with their lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender members.  A Q & A session will follow.
