Two men were jailed this weekend for allegedly shooting out windows in northeast Carson City.

Garrett Wesley Blackwell, 20, of Carson City, was booked into the jail at 2:34 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of felony property destruction, discharging a firearm into a structure and misdemeanor discharging a firearm in city limits.

Also arrested was Eric Dean Larson, 23, a truck driver from Carson City, on suspicion of felony property destruction and gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools.

According to the arrest report, police were called to the 2800 block of Arrowhead Drive after a broken window tripped a burglar alarm at a business. Officers discovered 13 windows on the business shot out with BBs.

Shortly after the call, Sheriff Ken Furlong was in the area of Centennial Park Drive when he noticed "three subjects parked suspiciously," the report states.

Officers contacted the trio and allegedly recovered a paint ball gun, paint ball rifle, BB gun, a large amount of BBs and CO2 cartridges. Officers also allegedly found what appeared to be a homemade slim jim, used to open locked car doors.

While the driver, Larson, and front seat passenger, Blackwell, were jailed, a third passenger was not arrested.

Larson's bail is set at $5,000. Blackwell is being held on $20,000.

Repair costs on the windows are estimated at $5,200.
