A trust account has been set up at Wells Fargo bank, Acct. #1660942010 to help a 10-year-old Carson City boy who is fighting brain cancer.

Jonah Navarro was diagnosed with a high-grade cerebellar neuro epithelial tumor which has spread to his spine, said his aunt, Cara O'Keefe.

"For a 10-year-old child, the aggressive radiation and chemotherapy are wreaking havoc on his little body," she said. "Doctors are doing everything they can to control his pain level."

With the high grade cancer and aggressive treatments, Jonah is required to travel from Carson City to Stanford University for six weeks of treatment. He will get a week or two break and then he has to return to Stanford to resume another six weeks of treatments. This will continue for nearly a year.

Jonah has 5 brothers and sisters. His father has stayed in Carson City with the rest of the children so they can continue school and live as normal a life as much as possible in this situation, O'Keefe said.

The family is taking donations of services and merchandise to raffle off and have silent auctions, but donations of any type are happily accepted and appreciated.
