The Silver State Tumbleweeds is a travel group hosted by Young at Heart Senior Citizens Club of Douglas County. They are back from hiatus and will be on the go in October.

Seniors are invited to join the Tumbleweeds for a four-day, three-night motor coach tour to Laughlin departing Gardnerville on Oct. 26. Participants will stay at the Riverside Resort Casino located right on the Colorado River.

This getaway is $230 per person double occupancy, and includes hotel, motor coach transportation, luggage handling, one breakfast and one dinner buffet. There is an optional day trip to Oatman, Ariz., offered at an additional charge. Single occupancy is just $35 more.

This trip is open to anyone age 21 or older. Spaces are limited. All reservations must be confirmed on or before Sept. 28.

For more information, call Esther Hildebrant at 265-2312 or the senior center at 783-6455.

The center is at 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville.
