'2012, The End of the World?' lecture planned

Carson City Library will present popular regional lecturer Mike Thomas, president of the Western Nevada Astronomical Society, at 6 p.m. Monday.

Thomas will present his slideshow/lecture "2012, The End of the World?" The lecture is a followup to the showing of the movie "2012" that was held the previous week.

The program, to be held in the library auditorium, is free and open to the public. The library is at the corner of Roop and Washington streets.
