Let's Get It On Promotions has done it again, presenting another action-filled card of both boxing and MMA Saturday night at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno.

Going into the sixth round of the main event, Reno's Joey Gilbert had won all but the second round, where Kassim Ouma outworked him. All throughout the fight the action was nonstop, with Gilbert doing the most damage with powerful right hands, dropping Ouma in the fifth round.

The fight dramatically changed when the bell sounded for the sixth round. Ouma landed a flurry of nonstop punches, then a right uppercut that put Gilbert down on one knee. Gilbert took an eight count and told the referee he had double vision and the fight was stopped. After the fight Gilbert went to the hospital and was not available for comment.

Earlier in the evening Markie "The Italian Bazooka" DeLuca blasted his opponent Alex Rivera. DeLuca knocked Rivera down once in the second round and three times in the third, winning by way of knockout. DeLuca (7-0, 5KOs), who is serving in the Marines, says he loves Reno, and wants to come back.

Nelson Lopez looked impressive as he took every round in defeating Bubba Dupree in their pro debuts. Both boxers are out of Reno.

MMA action was intense, the first MMA bout had John O'Donnell, from Fallon, stopping John Corstorphine from Sacramento in the second round.

It was lights out for Josh Rabedeaux from Phoenix as he took a clean kick to the head from the winner Joe Barros of Reno.

Jack "The Motor" Montgomery from Winnemucca tapped out at 2:03 in the second round giving Jerel "The Solution" Clark out of Sparks the win.

All three MMA winners train out of Battleborn Gym in Reno.
