Year: Senior

Sports: Tennis, basketball

Q: What is your favorite sport, and how did you get started playing it?

A: My favorite sport is basketball, and I was inspired to start playing it at a very young age because of my dad's love and dedication to teaching me the sport.

Q: Do you have any superstitions you go through before games?

A: No superstitions, but I say a little prayer before the game

Q: Who is your favorite teammate and why?

A: I don't have a favorite teammate because the whole team's camaraderie and friendship is important to me. However, having my sister (Madison) on my teams has been great, and I will never forget it because she is one of my best friends

Q: Talk about your biggest moment in sports?

A: I was on the Carson Middle School basketball team, and we were playing our rivals, now friends, from Eagle Valley. We were behind with just seconds to go, and I hit two free throws to put us ahead and win the game

Q: Do you have a role model, and why is he/she your role model?

A: My parents are my role models because they both inspire me to do my best, and they are always there supporting me in everything I do

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I have taken piano lessons since I was 7. I'm also a dancer and especially like tap dancing. I also love water skiing, other water sports, and deer hunting

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Malibu chicken. I also love chocolate chip cookie dough

Q: Who is your favorite musician?

A: Rascal Flatts, because I can relate to so many of their songs

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I plan to have my college degree (maybe in engineering) and to be happily married, and hopefully living near Carson City

Q: What is the last non-academic book you've read recently?

A: Between all my sports, clubs and AP classes, I don't have much free time to read. If I had the time, I would like to read romantic stories.
