How to cook nondescripts - Doc Benton, while fishing on the Carson river, caught a strange fish and was willing to wager that it was a nondescript, at which Jewett Adams jumped and rema-rked: "I've caught hundreds of 'em. The last one I landed weighed over three pounds. I'd rather have a fresh nondescript fried in butter than the best mountain trout you ever saw."

Congress decided to establish a $100 million trust fund to compensate victims of atmospheric atomic tests in Nevada and uranium mining the Southwest.

College Parkway gets bike lanes. The lanes are part of Carson City bicycle plan and the College Parkway/Graves Lane/Edmonds Drive is designated as a potential route for pedal-pushing commuters.
