Carson Performing Arts presents its 18th annual Fairytale Theatre production for one-day only at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Carson Community Center.

The Carson High School theater arts class presents "The Grimm Brothers Spectaculathon," by Don Zolidis, a crazy combination of the Brothers Grimm's most famous tales in a mash up. The play is directed by student Kathleen Bryant.

Parents are encouraged to bring children to experience the energy of live theater.

The performance is "pay what you can" in gratitude for the community's continued support of Carson Performing Arts programs and love of the theater arts.

The play pits two warring narrators against each other as they attempt to combine all 209 Grimm Brothers fairy tales into one impossibly complicated story line in a hilarious theatrical event.
