COLLEGE: WNC men complete sweep of Colorado Northwestern

RANGELY, Colo. - Donald Glover hit two doubles and drove in six runs to lead Western Nevada College to an easy 17-2 win over Colorado Northwestern Saturday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference game.

The win moves WNC to 21-3. The Wildcats will be at home the remainder of the season starting with Friday's doubleheader against Eastern Utah.

Andrew Woeck went the first three innings to pick up the win. Jason Wittwer worked the final two innings.


SOFTBALL DROPS FINALE

RANGELY, Colo. - The Wildcats dropped the final of the four-game series, 6-3, Saturday afternoon.

Ashley Hall took the loss, allowing three runs in 2.1 innings. Cassie Vondrak went the final 4.2 innings.

Tera Tibbitts went 2-for-3 for WNC, while Vondrak, Niki DiSera, Megan Hein, Hall, Melanie Pfeiffer and Makaela Henshaw all had a hit each.

WNC plays at Northern Idaho College next Friday and Saturday.
