Robert Montooth Aten, 87, died April 9, 2011, in Carson City. He was born March 30, 1924, in Illinois to Clarence and Bertha Aten. He is survived by son Randy Aten (Kory); daughters Pamela Hauck (Craig) and Vicky Morrison; brothers Roscoe and Rex Aten; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
