The Nevada Highway Patrol is on scene of a fatal accident on Highway 50 East.
According the NHP dispatch, a person on an all-terrain vehicle attempted to cross north on the highway when he was struck and killed by a car.
The accident is between Rainbow Drive and Caroline Way. Traffic is at a standstill, the dispatcher said.
