LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Utah State coach Stew Morrill says in-state standout David Collette has agreed to play basketball for the Aggies next season.

The 6-foot-8 forward led Murray High School to a 20-4 record last season and a co-Region 2 Championship. He averaged 22.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.7 blocks, while shooting 60.5 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point range. Collette was the 5A-Region 2 Most Valuable Player as a senior.

The school announced Collette's signing this week along with a letter of intent by Igor Premasunac (prem-uh-sue-niche), a 6-9, 240-pound forward from Lon Morris Junior College in Jacksonville, Texas.
