LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Alabama's Trent Richardson has won the Doak Walker Award as the nation's top running back.
The announcement was made during the College Football Awards show at Disney World. Oregon's LaMichael James and Wisconsin's Montee Ball were the other finalists. James won the award last year.
Richardson is the first Alabama player to win the award.
