Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jennifer Cornelison, 42, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Koontz Lane on suspicion of felony taking property from a person 60 years or older, and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $10,000.

• Tye Brandon Giles, 22, a maintenance technician from Sparks, was arrested at 10 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony auto burglary. Bail was set at $20,000.

• Brian Lee Neidig, 20, of Mound House, was arrested at 6:25 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Linehan Road on suspicion of felony domestic battery. Bail was set at $10,000.

• Nelleta Darlene Harris, 47, a transient, was arrested at 7:57 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Lorraine Street on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, misdemeanor contempt of court and obstructing an investigation. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Seth Colin McCorkle, 34, a machinist from Carson City, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Goldfield Lane on warrants for suspicion of felony false pretenses to obtain money and theft by material misrepresentation. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• A shoplifter was detained at 4:12 p.m. at J.C. Penney.

• Two juveniles girls were detained for shoplifting at Smith's.

• Report of tires slashed and a woman hit in the face at Airport Road and College Parkway at 10:52 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Arrest at Goldpan Way and V and T in Mark Twain at 11:24 a.m.

• Report of a sofa dumped on Endeavor Lane in Fernley.

• Report of a doe and fawn dead in the road on State Route 339 in Mason Valley.

• Arrest on Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 7:11 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:

• Report of a fight outside a C Street bar at 11:57 p.m. Saturday. An arrest was made.

• Report of a vehicle window broken with a rock sometime before 7:54 a.m. Sunday on C. Street.
