Carson City fire fighters and the Bureau of Land management responded to a fire along the Carson River near Brunswick Canyon Road about 11 p.m. Saturday night.
According to Sheriff Ken Furlong the fire was near the Lyon County line. There were no homes threatened.
As of press time there was no estimate of control or size.
