Teresa McKinney is the guest speaker for Aglow's July meeting at 7 p.m. July 25 at 2100 California St.
McKinney will talk about her struggles with prescription drugs, alcohol and false religion, which led her down a path of self-destruction. Through Alcoholics Anonymous and the power of the Holy Spirit, she began the journey of being honest with herself.
She and her husband Rick now help other alcoholics and drug addicts through New Hope Recovery Ranch, a live-in addiction recovery program they founded in 2000 in Silver Springs.
