Obituary: Allagean Reed

Allagean Reed, 94, of Carson City died May 5, 2011. She was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Hazen, Ark., to John and Mary Marek. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Steven Marek, John Marek Jr., Martin Marek, and Thomas Marek; sisters Bess Baglietto and Elizabth Shimek. She is survived by her husband Arthur W. Reed; daughters Sandra Beatty, Pamela Kenison (Dennis); stepdaughter Leslie Anderson (Steven); sister Louise Williams; and four stepgrandchildren. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minden. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
