Longtime state Sen. Bill Raggio's biography goes on sale today with a signing in the Legislative Building.
Raggio and author Mike Archer will be on hand to sign copies of the hardbound volume from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 3100.
Raggio, who retired just before the 2011 Legislature convened, served 39 years in the Nevada Senate. Before that, he was Washoe County district attorney for more a decade.
A Republican, Raggio served longer in the Nevada Senate than anyone in the state's history. His service included 10 sessions as Senate Majority Leader.
