The Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization will hear a presentation concerning the results of a traffic signal optimization study when it meets at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.
Also on Wednesday's agenda is a proposed cooperative agreement for regional transportation planning between CAMPO and the Department of Transportation.
The Regional Transportation Commission meets immediately following the adjournment of CAMPO on Wednesday.
Commissioners are scheduled to take possible action to:
• Authorize the RTC chairperson to move forward with a cooperative stewardship agreement between Carson City and NDOT for Phase 1 of the freeway landscaping project.
• Make decisions regarding hardware and software purchases.
• Approve changes to the Carson City snow removal map.
