Offense: This is a tough one. Carson did rack up a lot of yards. The Senators were the recipient of two simultaneous held balls which are always awarded to the offense, and both went for big yardage. Matt Nolan completed 12 of 14 passes and Chance Quilling rushed for 118 yards. On the negative side, Carson put five balls on the ground which is unacceptable.

Defense: Carson held Damonte to less than 100 yards total offense in the first half, but Drew Smith made them look really bad in the third quarter when the Mustangs scored two touchdowns. Carson was losing contain on the outside, and Smith took advantage of it. He had 111 yards rushing. Carson came back nicely in the fourth quarter, as Clint Page got his first interception of th season and his varsity career.

Special teams: Austin Pacheco had a few touchbacks on kick-offs and he certainly punted better. One of his kicks went for 61 yards. He did have two field goals, both without a tee, but he missed a PAT. He was about a yard short on a 55-yard field goal to end the half.
