A new look at the Donner Party

Tahoe weather historian and author Mark McLaughlin will speak about the Donner Party at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Sierra Place, 1111 W. College Parkway.

McLaughlin will focus on the successes of families who managed to bring most of their children out of the snowbound mountains.
