The Fallon swim teams were axed by South Tahoe on Friday.

The Vikings came away with a 142-115 victory in the girls dual and a 142-86 in the boys meet.

Fallon returns to the pool at noon Saturday against Wooster at Northwest Pool in Reno.

Sam Martin led the Lady Wave with wins in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 23.67 seconds) and the 100 butterfly, while Lyndsey Thurston added a victory in the 50 freestyle (29.70).

Thurston, Martin, Tina Anderson and Alex Lynch also cruised to a win in the 200 free relay (1:58.75). Addyson Harmon, Josie Bekiares, Katrina Ward and Sierra Bivens placed third (2:14.68).

Perhaps the best event for the Lady Wave was the 50 free. After Thurston, Bivens took second (30.87) and Bekiares took fourth (33.54). Thurston also took second in the 100 free (1:06.80) followed by Anderson (1:07.74) in third and Bekiares (1:16.66) in sixth.

Anderson added a third-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:27.27), while Josey Moore was fourth (1:43.03).

For the boys, Keith Grimes picked up wins in the 50 (24.63) and 100 free (54.46), while Kyle Grimes notched a victory in the 200 IM (2:33.17).

Garrett Snooks took third in the 200 IM (3:15.40) and 100 free (1:11.63). The 100 free also saw solid performances from Mason Morrisson, who took fourth (1:12.00) and David Sandvig (1:12.37) in fifth.

All three relay teams placed second for Fallon.
