The annual Jim Regan Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 7 at the Fallon Golf Course at 8 a.m. The event is sponsored by Churchill County to benefit scholarships for Churchill County employees or children.
Two $1,000 scholarships were awarded in 2013 to Darcy Tedford and Alyssa Haugen.
Jim Regan was an active citizen in this community and supporter of education and children. He served as a Churchill County Commissioner from 1989 to 2000.

Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, greens fees, contests, lunch, prizes for team scores, longest drive, closest to the hole and more. Mulligans can be purchased for $5 and a raffle will be conducted. Cost is $35 for members and $65 for non-members. Deadline to register is Aug. 30.
