Sheriff’s Log: Carson man arrested on felony parole and probation violation

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

WEDNESDAY

• 12:30 p.m.: A 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1000 block of East William Street on suspicion of no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $650.

• 11:22 a.m.: A 52-year-old transient was arrested on Brunswick Canyon Road on a failure-to-appear contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $3,000.

• 10:53 p.m.: Mario Quevedo, 26, of Carson City was arrested in the 1700 block of Brown Street on suspicion of a felony parole and probation violation. No bail was set. Also arrested was a 24-year-old Carson City man, on suspicion of obstructing. Bail was set at $250.

• 7:19 p.m.: A 57-year-old transient was arrested in the 400 block of East Adams Street on suspicion of expired registration and driving with a suspended license, as well as on a failure-to-appear warrant. Bail was set at $914.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
