The Churchill County School District Board of Trustees will hold on Thursday their second regularly scheduled meeting of August at the district administration office, 690 S. Maine St.
Trustees will discuss or take action on the following items:
• Consider setting a maximum dollar amount for the West End renovation and renaming the facility “West End Complex.” West End Elementary School was closed at the end of the 2011-12 school year.
• Conditional approval of $6,000 to be allocated to student group travel expenses if funds are available after count day will be considered. Trustees will also consider approval of criteria for the policy subcommittee to use to draft policy to guide board funding for student group travel expenses.
• Approval of a Legal Services contract for Sharla Hales is part of the consent agenda.
